Professional background
Axelle began her career as a product manager in a major manufacturing group. In this position, she honed her analytical and marketing skills, as well as project management, events and communications skills. She then moved to South Africa, where she took on managerial responsibilities in operations and business development for the leading Tour Operator in southern Africa. Attentive to the personal development of each individual, she became involved in several local non-profit organizations in Johannesburg.
Back in Paris, her interest in coaching and leadership development led her to join Turningpoint. After her time in Project Management, Axelle went on to become the firm’s Head of Development, taking charge of strategic projects, client accounts, and internal projects such as the development of the Coach Community, CSR, and QWL.
Coaching expertise
Over the past 7 years, she has gained an understanding of the complex issues facing managers and executives, acquired skills in pedagogical engineering, and completed training to become a professional coach. During her coaching certification year at HEC, Axelle notably worked on her personal development and her capacity to take a step back and see the larger picture. Her ability to build lasting, trusting relationships with her clients is an asset when it comes to co-constructing managerial and leadership development programs.
Deeply inspired by Will Schutz’s Human Element, Axelle places self-awareness at the heart of relationships and group performance. Her coaching practice encourages managers to see kindness in relationships as a strength – a strength capable of fostering cooperation, open and honest dialogue, and true alliances, all while de-esclating defensive or aggressive reactions and facilitating conflict resolution.
