A partnership aimed at developing social entrepreneurs!
We’re delighted to share some exciting news with you: Turningpoint and the NGO Ashoka are joining forces to strengthen the development of social entrepreneurs!
Ashoka is THE global network that identifies and supports change agents dedicated to social and ecological innovation. We are in awe of the many social and ecological programs that have been initiated thanks to the entrepreneurs supported by Ashoka!
At Turningpoint, we believe that transitions succeed through communities of visionary, committed and responsible leaders. We believe in breaking down organizational barriers: CEOs of major corporations, entrepreneurs and start-ups, senior civil servants and non-profit leaders all need to develop their leadership skills and support each other.
From our very foundation, commitment to the common good has always been at the heart of our mission, as confirmed by our B Corp certification, obtained in 2016, and our Leaders for Good initiative, launched in 2018. So, our collaboration with Ashoka is a natural next step.
This partnership involves developing non-profit leaders who are nominated as Ashoka Fellows – founders, presidents or CEOs of associations or social organizations – through management and leadership seminars. The challenge? To translate bold visions and intuitions into projects and organizations that have an impact in the field and successfully scale up. How will they manage this? They need to set up teams, attract, develop and evaluate people, volunteers and partners, among other things.
“A vision that is not translated into action remains an illusion. Action that is not supported by a vision remains pure agitation“, says Olivier Pelleau, Founder of Turningpoint and Senior Executive Coach.
And this is just the beginning! We will be working to ensure that other Fellows can benefit from our clients’ leadership programs as part of our “Leaders for Good” initiative. Click here to read more about this initiative.
Discover one “Leaders for Good” alumni, Loic Louisetto, as he shares his experience.
Thank you to our many partners who are joining us in this visionary and courageous program. Stay tuned to find out more!
