Reimagining work-life quality through real-life experiences
To mark France’s « Work and Well-being Week » (Semaine de la QVCT), Turningpoint’s Michel Mornet sits down with Thomas Périlleux — author, sociologist, clinician, and professor at the University of Louvain.
Together, they explore the key topics of Périlleux’s acclaimed book, roughly translated to « Work Unfiltered: Work-related suffering, why seek help? » – winner of the 2024 “Rethinking Work” Award, hosted and organized by Sciences Po and Le Monde, with the support of Turningpoint.
Drawing on fifteen years of clinical consultations, the book reveals the often-invisible struggles of working life: exhaustion, shame, and a deep sense of helplessness. It questions how these wounds can be recognized, expressed, and transformed — through the power of listening and dialogue.
A vital and thought-provoking conversation on the living link between work, vulnerability, and commitment. This podcast is in French.
