The best-kept secret of the summer
The summer was mellow, one could almost think that everything was back to normal, that everything was like before. We wanted to forget. And then fall arrived, with the reinforced threat of Covid, the reality of an economic crisis, masks, restrictions… and only uncertainty in the foreseeable future…
But how what were we doing this summer? Why did we have this feeling of carefreeness when the threat was actually the same? This summer, we valued the presence of our loved ones, appreciated the beauty of a landscape, enjoyed the simplicity of a good meal. In short, we lived in the present. It is this same attitude that will help us through the current period, savoring the present: a smile, a ray of light, a nice gesture, the song of a bird, a task well accomplished. The present moment has one advantage over all others, it belongs to you and you alone !
