Professional background
Jaya worked in the fast-moving high-tech industry and was on the “buy side” of the finance industry. She headed global cash management for Nokia based in Geneva, Switzerland and she moved to Singapore to take over the role of Nokia’s Asian Treasurer. Throughout her senior level corporate career, she focused on developing people while achieving strong business results. She has managed high performing, cross-cultural and virtual teams across three continents on a daily basis.
Jaya grew up in India and then spent 23 years studying and working in Switzerland, before moving to Singapore. Jaya successfully bridges Eastern and Western thinking, with an in-depth understanding of both cultures being a Third Culture Kid (TCK) herself. Her extensive tenure in a global organization has afforded her profound insights into the professional landscapes of her clients.

Jaya discovered the power of coaching when she was coached at the Program for Executive Development at IMD in 2007. This sparked her decision to train as an Executive Coach.
