Signe grew up in both Norway and the United States, an experience that spurred her interest in learning languages, traveling, and understanding different cultures. She obtained a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Bergen in Norway, specializing in International Law, after semesters abroad in Australia and France. After graduating, she moved to Paris for an internship at a corporate law firm, before joining ESA, a governmental agency in Brussels, as a lawyer. She then moved back to the United States, where she started a career in marketing and communication. Over the years, Signe has held various positions in international product marketing (Voss Water, L’Oréal, Estée Lauder Companies) in the US, and in communication, notably in the non-profit and public sectors in New York and Bergen, Norway.
As Chief of Communications at Turningpoint, Signe leads the communications team and is responsible for the overall communication strategy, commercial proposals, program materials, and directing the Turningpoint brand’s visual design and graphic identity.
Signe is a highly supportive manager who infuses her work with creativity and energy. Known for her great sense of humor, she is open, approachable, and fosters a positive and collaborative environment.
