Career history
Maria is now a Senior Executive and Team Coach, Leadership Development Consultant, Facilitator, Mediator and Non-Executive Director, based in Sydney. She previously held leadership roles in multinational organisations and practiced law with international law firms in the UK and Australia.
Coach expertise
Maria discovered coaching at a pivotal moment in her life, in 1999, as she was considering a change in both her country of residence and her career, first in the UK, then in the US. It was this firsthand experience of challenging assum ptions, focusing on strengths, being aware of biases along with derailing behaviours and finding the confidence to rewrite her own destiny, that enabled her to take her life in another direction, and ultimately led to her becoming a coach. Her love of people and their stories, combined with continuous learning and self-development has allowed Maria to now support others cultivate awareness, take proactive steps, to make positive changes in their lives. Maria’s natural curiosity and positive attitude enable her to inspire others reach their own potential and become purposeful change agents in their lives, increasing wellbeing, life and career options.
Maria has led leadership development initiatives, including assessments, career and leadership development programs. She has worked across diverse sectors such as luxury, banking, insurance, technology, healthcare, energy, government, and non-profit & professional services.
