As a leader, the first person you must lead is YOU.
Professional background
Irène has over 25 years of working experience both in France and in China. She started her career in the China Ministry of Commerce and pursued her professional path at PSA Peugeot Citroen after graduating from HEC Paris. During her 15 years at PSA, she successively served in departments of finance, audit, HR, and purchasing, both in France and in China. In 2009, she became an independent consultant/trainer in business management, strategy, organization, and communication for multinational companies based in the China market.
She then started her organizational and executive coaching experience focusing on improving the coaching counterpart’s ability to manage emotions at the workplace, enhancing their ability to face transitions and conflicts, improving the ability to communicate effectively, developing self-confidence, assertiveness, and leadership, and adopting proactive behaviors to solve business issues.
Coaching expertise
She has always been interested in relationship and communication issues. She started to study psychology 15 years ago and later became a certified psychological counselor. In order to combine her years of working experiences in corporate environments with her psychological studies, she started her coaching journey around 2011.
She believes that a good coach must begin by knowing/coaching themselves before getting to know and coaching others. She really enjoys the coaching process because, while her coaching counterparts express that they benefit from every coaching session, she herself also gains insights from her coaching counterparts. It is a win-win process!
