Michael's strength is an integral understanding of business challenges, company cultures and the dilemmas leaders face. Michael was born and bred in England before studying industrial engineering in the Netherlands. Since then he has had a varied career in a broad range of management capacities at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. He proved successful at achieving business results in international partnerships. '
As Director Corporate Strategy Michael was closely involved in KLM's merger activities culminating in the Air France KLM combination in 2004.
As part of the post-merger integration team Michael focused on cultural bridging and joint leadership development. He has now developed into an independent intercultural consultant and management coach. Michael has had his own management coaching practice since 1999 which now includes cross-cultural coaching.
