Michael is a human resource management practitioner with more than 20 years’ experience in progressively senior capacities, from training and development to leading the HR function in Asia Pacific. He had served in various regional roles as the HR Director/Business Partner in the banking and manufacturing sectors. In his capacity as the Regional HR Lead, he had worked and coached the Country General Managers to develop People Strategies to grow their businesses.

As an Executive Coach, Michael has worked with CEOs, GMs, CFOs, Business Directors and even newly promoted managers to make a greater impact in their organizations. A certified coach with the NeuroLeadership Institute, Michael’s perceptive and personal style helped make the coaching conversations insightful and results focused. In addition, a Career Coach with INSEAD Singapore, Lee Hecht Harrison as well as an Adjunct Coach with the NUS Business School – Executive Education.
Michael’s interests in coaching extends to the study of Neuroscience (with the NeuroLeadership Group) and attended the Mindfulness Based Strategic Awareness Training (Singapore Management University)
