Before becoming a coach, Darryl held various roles in organizations (logistics, manufacturing, and IT services) ranging from internal process consulting, to project management and customer-facing roles. These experiences have equipped him with the insight needed to navigate the delicate balance between “managing the business” and “managing people”.
Expertise coach
As a coach, Darryl creates a reflective space to help leaders explore how they can navigate and integrate the personal dimensions of themselves with the demands of their roles – within the unique context of their environments.
He also enjoys working with groups and teams through a systemic and psychodynamic lens. Darryl curates spaces and opportunity for leaders and leadership teams to engage in real – and sometimes uncomfortable – conversations about the unconscious dynamics shaping their individual and collective behaviours.
In addition to his coaching work, Darryl supervises other coaches and consultants, supporting the development of their practice. He helps them deepen their self-awareness in role and uses a systems-psychodynamic approach to reflect on the often complex dynamics between themselves, their clients, and the client organisations.
