Caitie is a South African born, New Zealand-raised Londoner. Her international upbringing partnered with a love for travel inspired her to complete a BA in International Studies at Goldsmiths University in London. Upon completion, Caitie moved to Blantyre, Malawi for six months as a volunteer in a local orphanage and school. While extremely challenging this experience inspired Caitie to continue her studies which she did, completing an MSc in Development Studies at SOAS University in London 2018. This degree developed in her an interest in international development, and specifically the role that the international community and larger corporations play in this.
Being passionate about young people, Caitie volunteered in her local youth group for 8 years, mentoring teenagers and young adults in inner city London. With a love of the outdoors, Caitie spends her free time exploring the city and hiking in the countryside. She loves to meet new people and invests her time is building her local community.
Now as a Project Manager at Turningpoint, Caitie helps facilitate the logistical and administrative aspects of projects.
