Joanna began her career as a corporate lawyer over 20 years ago and attained diverse work experience in New Zealand, London and Hong Kong. She worked for top tier English law firm Simmons & Simmons before moving into in-house legal and consultancy roles for global conglomerates in various sectors. She has been a departmental head, led large teams in multi-billion dollar transactions and often advised senior to C-level executives across regions and continents.
As an Executive Coach, she has facilitated leadership programs and coached senior executives in the legal, financial, luxury, consulting, education, and non-profit sectors in Asia, Europe and the United States. Joanna's coaching approach has a basis in neuroscience and is process-focused, and outcome driven. She also brings a deep understanding of the mind-sets of different cultures and facilitates a transformation in thinking, and therefore positive personal change.
In addition, Joanna was listed by The Women's Foundation as a "woman to watch" in 2017. As a member of "Women on Board" of the French Chamber of Commerce she co-leads the United Nations HeforShe movement in "corporate Hong Kong" in partnership with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, engaging C-Suite executives in the gender dialogue. .
Joanna trained as a coach with the Neuroleadership Group as well as IECL (Organisational & Executive Coaching) in Level 1 & 2 and team coaching. She is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation ("ICF"). She is also qualified as a solicitor in New Zealand, United Kingdom and Hong Kong (non-practising). Joanna works with various assessment tools such as TMP, DISC, GlobeSmart, Harrison Assessments and Conversation Intelligence.
